What it does

The edit you'd do by hand, done for you

Finds your facecam

It scans the clip for the box your camera or avatar sits in. Found: facecam on top, gameplay below. Not found: 100% gameplay.

Nine layouts

Split, 50/50, full gameplay, cam bubble, square, whole frame, Facecam + HUD (keeps your kill feed and minimap on screen), and Full view + zoom, top or bottom.

Highlight finder Beta

It listens for spikes and watches the picture for action and new kills in the kill feed, then starts your Short just before the peak. Still learning, so check its pick.

Bold captions

Type a hook like "1V4 CLUTCH" and it sits on the seam in thick white letters with a neon glow.

Private by design

Everything runs in your browser tab. Your clip is never uploaded, so there is nothing to leak and no queue to wait in.

Ready to post

Exports 1080×1920 with the original sound, up to 3 minutes: the size and length YouTube Shorts accept.

Templates

Pick a layout, or let it pick for you

With a facecam it starts on Facecam + gameplay; without one, on Full gameplay. You can switch at any time.

FAQ

Questions streamers ask

Is it really free?

Yes. The studio runs on your computer, so it costs nothing to serve. A paid Pro plan for server features is in development.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The clip is read and rendered inside your browser tab. The one exception is Pro captions from voice: only the sound of the part you chose is sent, so it can be turned into words, and Auto-Framer doesn't keep it. Pro voice-overs send only the text you type.

It picked the wrong layout. What do I do?

Click the layout you want in the studio; your choice wins. Detection can mistake a bordered minimap or scoreboard for a facecam, and can miss a camera with no visible edge. Use the Facecam sliders to point at it.

Which files work?

MP4 (H.264), MOV, MKV and WebM open in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. AVI, WMV and many H.265 (HEVC) files don't. Convert them once with free FFmpeg:

ffmpeg -i "yourfile.avi" -c:v libx264 -preset veryfast -crf 20 -c:a aac -movflags +faststart converted.mp4
How long can a Short be?

From 5 seconds to 3 minutes, which is YouTube's limit for Shorts. Export runs in real time, so a 60-second Short takes about a minute. Keep the tab open while it records.

How do I add an AI voice-over?

In the studio, open Voice-over (Pro). Type exactly what the voice should say, or pick Write it for me and describe the moment. Choose English, Hindi or Hinglish and a voice, then click Make voice-over. It's fitted to your Short's length, captions follow it word by word, and the game sound dips while it speaks.

Which browsers work?

Recent Chrome and Edge on a computer work best. Firefox works and may save WebM instead of MP4, which YouTube accepts. Safari and phones are not tested yet.
