Facecam + gameplay
Your camera on the top 30%, gameplay on the bottom 70%.
Like YouTube's split screenDrop in a 16:9 clip. Auto-Framer finds your facecam, picks the loudest moment and exports a 1080×1920 Short. No facecam? You get a full-screen gameplay Short instead.
It scans the clip for the box your camera or avatar sits in. Found: facecam on top, gameplay below. Not found: 100% gameplay.
Split, 50/50, full gameplay, cam bubble, square and whole frame, modelled on YouTube's own Shorts layouts.
It reads the clip's audio and starts your Short just before the biggest spike, so the hype lands in the first seconds. It only listens to sound for now, so check its pick.
Type a hook like "1V4 CLUTCH" and it sits on the seam in thick white letters with a neon glow.
Everything runs in your browser tab. Your clip is never uploaded, so there is nothing to leak and no queue to wait in.
Exports 1080×1920 with the original sound, up to 3 minutes: the size and length YouTube Shorts accept.
With a facecam it starts on Facecam + gameplay; without one, on Full gameplay. You can switch at any time.

Drop a clip from your stream or recording. MP4 from OBS, Twitch or Medal works as is.
It finds your facecam and picks a layout. Switch templates, nudge the crop, add a caption.
Export, download the 1080×1920 file and upload it to YouTube Shorts, TikTok or Reels.
Yes. The studio runs on your computer, so it costs nothing to serve. A paid Pro plan for server features is in development.
No. The clip is read and rendered inside your browser tab. The one exception is Pro captions from voice: only the sound of the part you chose is sent, so it can be turned into words, and Auto-Framer doesn't keep it.
Click the layout you want in the studio; your choice wins. Detection can mistake a bordered minimap or scoreboard for a facecam, and can miss a camera with no visible edge. Use the Facecam sliders to point at it.
MP4 (H.264), MOV, MKV and WebM open in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. AVI, WMV and many H.265 (HEVC) files don't. Convert them once with free FFmpeg:
ffmpeg -i "yourfile.avi" -c:v libx264 -preset veryfast -crf 20 -c:a aac -movflags +faststart converted.mp4From 5 seconds to 3 minutes, which is YouTube's limit for Shorts. Export runs in real time, so a 60-second Short takes about a minute. Keep the tab open while it records.
Recent Chrome and Edge on a computer work best. Firefox works and may save WebM instead of MP4, which YouTube accepts. Safari and phones are not tested yet.
